A personal invitation ...
Greetings to you,
Thanks for dropping by!
I'd like to extend a warm, personal invitation for you to make a visit to St Matthew - St Aidan. We're a small country church that's active and thriving. I know you'll find a very warm and genuine welcome here for you.
People remark that St Matthew - St Aidan is like a family. We care for one another and we're really conscious of our call and responsibility to be serving others, especially those in need within our community, local area and further afield.
We follow the rites of the Anglican Church of Canada. We're informal about all that. We love to sing. And each Sunday we gather for refreshments and goodies in the parish hall. Our Services are at 10 am each Sunday.
If you vacation in the Buckhorn area, if you're travelling on the Trent Severn Waterway, if you're new in the community or a present resident in Buckhorn, you can feel at home with the folks of St Matthew - St Aidan. Please take a look around our website. I think that'll give you a good idea of the kind of community of faith that we are.
If you have any questions, here's my personal email if you'd like to get in touch.
Blessings and Peace to you from all of us at St Matthew - St Aidan,
The Rev'd Glenn Empey, Parish Priest
on behalf of the Churchwardens and People
