Another Fabulous Plant and Bake Sale

On Saturday 26 May, the weather was perfect for the Annual Plant and Bake Sale at St Matthew - St Aidan. Although the event is always scheduled to begin at 9 am, early shoppers were there before 8 am.

Our 'Plant Managers' still managed to keep the plants arranged in a pleasant display by working quickly to fill in spaces from where the early birds nabbed their favourite choices. It was soon the same at the baked good tables where our Baking Chief kept pace with demand.

Sincere thanks and appreciation once again to Eunice and Olive as our 'Plant Managers' and to each of the parishioners who were part of their team. Equal thanks and appreciation to Helen M who served as the Baking Chief assisted by her fellow bakers and helpers. Thanks to them too.
